BELTED TROUSERS VINTAGE INDIGO

Yoko Sakamoto belted trousers.

This selvedge denim is made with a high density weaving on an old-fashioned power loom, in pursuit of the XX denim of the time. Using yarn that reproduces the long, thin, vertically-stretched unevenness that is unique to XX denim, the exquisite unevenness that appears in the indigo warp threads of the time is reproduced using a special rope dyeing technique.

Each piece is given a distressed look by a skilled craftsman, giving it a very tasteful color and texture that makes it look like a worn vintage item.

The iron tack buttons and rivets used will rust with each wear, giving the garment a vintage-like patina over time.
